2008 Kennedy Center Honors were announced. The Kennedy Center Honors
for 2008 are Morgan Freeman, George Jones, Twyla Tharp, Pete Townshend
and Roger Daltrey and Barbra Streisand.
Barbra Streisand, who is a frequent anti-Bush, lawyer says his appearance at the
White House Sunday to receive awards - "The art transcends politics this weekend."
