According to Deputy Becky Herrin in Islamorada at Cheeca Lodge resort
there is a big fire at about time 10 to 11:30 p.m. Not reported any injuries,
said firefighters have been and remain on the scene in order to identify hot
spots. Islamorada units of firearms, Tavernier, Key Largo, Marathon Key
Shell and fought all the Blaze, which was reported to 9:49 pm
The caller said flames could be seen on the roof and people were trying to
evacuate all of the burning buildings. Deputies responded and helped to
reach people, reports say, and the Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were
also there. Herrin said Islamorada Strazy Pozarnej and county and state
fire marshals would investigate the Blaze.
